[Prayer] October meeting

Greetings,

Some information for you in preparation for the October meeting. I have
been praying and discerning what God would have us do at this meeting.

1.  Our theme will be:  JOY

2.  I will have the devotions - Tuesday evening and Wed, Thurs and Fri
morning.

3.  There is a possibility that we can have a fiesta for some children in
a low income housing project.  It is still in the possibility stage.

4.  We will be having times of worship.  I do not feel that God wants us
to plan these ahead of time.  The following scriptures describe how I
think our worship times should be.

    EPH 5:19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual
    songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; NASB

    COL 3:16 Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom
    teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual
    songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.  NASB

5.  Please seek God as to what or how He would have you share in these
times of worship.

6.  Pray that we be one in accord with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. 
Operating Mission Fiesta as Mission Fiesta, Inc. is still new for us.  We
have some important things to agree upon such as budget, 'where and who'
as for Fiestas and how to best use the provisions (including people) given
to us by Our Lord God.

7.  Pray for Mission Fiesta, Inc. for we are in a time of growth and that
means a time of decisions.  Let us hold up each other in prayer, for we
are the ones who must discern the will of God concerning this ministry.

When and if I receive more information, I will pass it on.  At this time I
feel that there will be little more to pass on.  We each must seek God as
to our part in this time together.  Pray, seek and come prepared for a
Godly adventure.

There will be some type of schedule (probably will be flexible) and items
to discuss and to decide upon.
