Siestas

A siesta is a time of rest or break from the daily activities. The missionaries really do need a SIESTA! Their work is actually what we would say 24/7. Many times they work for weeks without a break. We bring goody bags to these workers which include items not readily available to them or they do not have the funds to purchase. We try to include items of a personal nature just for them. Some of the missionaries now put in their requests for items for these goody bags. When our budget allows we give monetary gifts for a break for the missionaries, money for a night away or a special dinner. Goodies and breaks from our activities are things that we take for granted but are very dear and precious to these dedicated men and women. We want to remind them that they are also very much loved by our God.
